I've always enjoyed cooking with cast iron, but these hand forged pans are amazing. I put the small pan to the test with fried eggs and some butter and cheese - outstanding! non stick. I have used them several times with other "sticky" foods and have enjoyed the results. I look forward to another purchase of other pans in this collection. Toss out your other pans, you will want these!

I got the Sonora XL Pan and I’m really happy with it. It’s on the heavy side, so the helper handle makes a big difference. The surface is super smooth, and honestly, I wasn’t expecting the handle to be this comfortable—it’s the best I’ve tried on any pan. The XL size is perfect, but now I’m thinking I might need a smaller one too. I checked out some similar pans that cost more, and I’m glad I went with this one. I’d definitely buy from Santa Barbara Forge again.

I cannot say enough great things about the pan. My husband said to me “finally a pan that works and will last”. Non-stick!!! I have had many many carbon steel pans and they claim to be non stick but they are not. The pan is truly an heirloom item that can be passed down. I love this brand so much. I’ll be getting my second one soon.
