Love the pan, great size for the wife and I. Took seasoning well eggs glide in the pan. Handle is extremely comfortable love cooking with it. Wish I could afford the whole set but that will have to wait.

Hello, If I was going to take a chance at spending as much as these hand crafted cook ware cost, I wanted the largest skillet! I am not disappointed with my purchase!! Beautiful work of art!! Function is supreme!!! Definitely non-stick without all the harsh chemicals of Teflon, will not scratch or deterrate with time! Worth every penny!! Going to buy one of the smaller versions soon!! I have been looking for a new egg pan that didn’t have the harmful chemicals. I came across Santa Barbara forge and thought I’d give it a try. All of my pans are either Le Creuset, All Clad or cast iron. I absolutely love this pan! It is the perfect size for my morning omelette. It is light and easy to handle and stunningly beautiful. I can’t wait to order another from their collection.

I’ve had the small pan for just a few days now and I’ve cooked with it a couple times plus the seasoning it in the oven 2-3 times. Is this what my pan should look like at this point?

This pan alone could have made me love cooking. The customer service and customization was outstanding. Pairs well with the 60 year old hot pad made by my Great-Grandma. I now have two heirlooms.

This Sonora Small Pan is a beautiful skillet that now pretty much lives on my stovetop. I'm enjoying cooking with the pan...tonight I did a wonderful sear on a nice piece of salmon.

Love everything about this pan after a few weeks. Christened it with a potato roesti cake! Now the only problem is deciding which one to get next.

Received my Sonora XL Pan from Santa Barbara Forge! Spent a couple days adding to the ‘seasoning’ that they had already started. I wanted to be sure this baby was ready to rock! I’ve been working to perfect my Dungeness Crabcake recipe and process, and this pan was the key to having the right cooking surface as well as plenty of room to cook six of these bad boys at a time. The result was freaking incredible! They sizzled, flipped well, cooked to a golden brown, and the pan just wiped-down easily after the cooking was done. It is so artful, superbly crafted, and simply badass…I find myself constantly thinking of new things to cook, using this incredible Santa Barbara Forge pan. Well done, folks! Well done.

Use it. I have roasted a whole young chicken, a Beef Round Roast and a whole duck. Eggs, bacon, pork belly round out the uses, so far. Tomorrow a Cornish Hen. All four pans are near there next ‘look’. I used SBF pan seasoning to the letter if the law and all appears good to go!

Hi, I took a chance on a carbon steel pan, from a company I saw online, Santa Barbara Forge. They said it was naturally non stick, which was what I needed. It’s made in the USA, in Santa Barbara which I liked. I received my pan very quickly, it looked great. After a week, it’s turned a beautiful color, and is great as a morning breakfast pan. Very happy , highly recommended, Jay, Yonkers, NY

After receiving our pan, we seasoned it as directed in the oven. The pan seems to cook everything perfectly nice and even heat distribution. I thought it was gonna take a little bit longer to season but nothing seems to be sticking not even eggs. Would definitely recommend these pans to anyone looking to purchase one.
