Robust, life time piece which only gets better with each use. I feel like I could use it on any cook surface including open flame.And let's not forget it's character. I look to use it everyday.
This thing is so handy I don't even bother putting it away anymore, it's a statement piece in my kitchen. My induction cooktop loves it.
The Sonota large pan has been a great addition to our kitchen. It's beautiful craftsmanship cooks great and looks amazing hanging from the rack.
I love the size of this pan as an omelette pan. It is the perfect size. Out of the package it is already well seasoned, but with a couple more sessions, it is even more nonstick. I love the look and feel and of the pan and the fact that it is handmade. It would be nice if it was slightly deeper, but that is only a small knock. Much nicer in my opinion than the competition that I have experience with.
I just made my first batch of two scrambled eggs with a variety of chile peppers fried in butter with zero problems. The preseason seemed to leave a brown film when wiping (probably normal) so washed this off with hot water and a soft rag, fresh butter in the pan, worked like a dream. Will be fun for a little pork chop or a dainty egg eater but realized I need a bigger pan too. Cool little pan. Love it.
