1st order was the Large frying pan. I like that so much the 2nd order was a small frying pan, another large frying pan, and the Roaster. Well worth the money. They provide care instructions to keep these pans in good condition. Just follow them for years of use. Will likely order again.
It’s been my go-to egg pan since I received it. Even heat, nice weight, nothing sticks, and clean-up is simple!
This is my third Santa Barbara pan. I have the small and large Sonora pans and love them. They look great and are soooo nice to use. I got the roaster for smaller meals for my wife and I, but it is large enough for for a dinner for four, depending on what you prepare. Most meals I make are good enough for dinner for my wife and I, with leftovers for two days. I also use it as a large pan since it is deeper and wider for those big veggie sauté dishes. The factory seasoning is OK, but after a good seasoning by myself, they are virtually nonstick. I love my pans.
I've always enjoyed cooking with cast iron, but these hand forged pans are amazing. I put the small pan to the test with fried eggs and some butter and cheese - outstanding! non stick. I have used them several times with other "sticky" foods and have enjoyed the results. I look forward to another purchase of other pans in this collection. Toss out your other pans, you will want these!
