Best Carbon Steel pan I’ve ever owned!

I live in Santa Barbara so I visited the SB Forge shop, and they could not have been more kind and welcoming. This was my first (test) purchase after several previous carbon steel disappointments. love my large Sonora pan! The look and craftsmanship alone sells it, but it has perfect balance, the artisan handle is awesome, it heats evenly, and the slightly lower sides make it a joy to cook with. Heading down to add to my collection soon!

I love this pan!
Cooks evenly, no sticking, beautiful sear on my fish.
I used lemon and the acid discolored the seasoning a bit, but no issues with subsequent cooking. Eggs don’t stick and cooked perfectly. I just leave the pan on the stove full time as it is so beautiful.

Beautifully crafted! Beefy and heavy just like I wanted. Not flimsy at all, non stick if you follow their use instructions, I lightly oil it after drying . I’ll get another one soon.

Really Impressed

Spent a fair amount of time researching carbon steel pans, looking for quality, appearance and value. These pans hit all three for me. There are cheaper pans that have no visual appeal at all, and there are other very nice hand forged pans that are almost three times more expensive. These look and cook beautifully.
